To submit a proposal:

Three projects were received. Two of them were already planned courses and sought complementary funding to invite new participants. One was a new project, strictly linked to a foresight workshop project.
The final decisions were made by the EUR-OCEANS Executive Committee for the three parallel calls (courses, foresight workshops, flagships) after the results of an internal review (in which Member Organization was invited to score every projects but those for which a conflict of interested existed) and (but in the case of courses) an external review (in which experts in the corresponding fields were solicited to assess a single proposal).
Given the nature of the courses and the results of their review, it was decided that only one project would be selected for funding, and that the rest of the budget of this call would be redirected to the flagship call. The successful project is:
- Use of natural analogues in ocean acidification research (5 k€)
