7th ECEM (2011) - European Conference on Ecological Modelling

Of interest to / involving EUR-OCEANS scientists

The 7th ECEM (European Conference on Ecological Modelling) will be held in Riva del Garda, Italy, from 30 May to 2 June 2011. It is organised on behalf of the International Society of Ecological Modelling (ISEM).

The key theme is Ecological hierarchy from the genes to the biosphere, however posters and talks are welcome in all fields of ecological modelling. A selection of peer-reviewed conference papers will be published in a special issue of the journal Ecological Modelling and in an edited book published by Elsevier. Depending on available funds (as well as the number and quality of submissions), a special issue of the journal Community Ecology may also be published.

Depending on available funds, some support to mostly students will be available.
