3 Postdoc & 1 PhD position on Sustainable Poverty Alleviation from Coastal Ecosystem Services - Stockholm (Sweden)

We are recruiting three Associate Research Fellows(postdocs) and one PhD student to work on our new ESPA funded project Sustainable Poverty Alleviation from Coastal Ecosystem Services (SPACES). The project is a transdisciplinary collaboration between Stockholm Resilience Centre, Exeter University and 30 other international partners.

The posts require a commitment to work across disciplines and to undertake primary fieldwork in Kenya and Mozambique using methodologies such as:
- coral reef ecological surveys
- large scale household survey on access to ecosystem services and wellbeing indicators
- qualitative research on subjective wellbeing
- analysis of natural resource governance
- participatory social-ecological modelling
- participatory scenario development and analysis
