The School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia is looking for a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate (Shelf Sea Biogeochemistry).
The postholder will contribute to the NERC funded research project Carbon and Nutrient Dynamics and Fluxes over Shelf Systems (CaNDyFloSS) to determine seasonal rates of phytoplankton, bacterioplankton and zooplankton respiration in the Celtic Sea. He or she will set up and develop techniques based on plankton community size fractionation, consumption of dissolved oxygen and the activity of the electron transport system.
You must have a PhD in Marine Biogeochemistry and be able to fulfill all essential elements of the person specification. The post is available from 1 January 2014 on a full-time basis for a fixed term period of 23 months.
Salary : £30,424 to £36,298 per annum
